Assist in contributing to build girl sanitary facilities that will help to promote hygiene and prevent girls and teachers from contracting diseases while promoting learning in public schools in Orumba South LGA. Inadequate sanitation in schools can contribute to the overall health of the surrounding community, as diseases may spread from students to their families and neighbors. This project is committed to eradicating any issue that would affect girls dropping out of school in Nigeria.
Several public primary schools in Orumba South are underfunded and without electricity which leaves the school without the necessary structure and facilities. In addition to school structures, existing sanitary facilities are dilapidated which forces teachers and pupils to go for open defecation in school.
