Promoting Health and Hygiene: Clean and accessible sanitary facilities allow girls to manage their menstrual health safely and with dignity. Without proper facilities, they face higher risks of infection and poor menstrual hygiene, which can have lasting health consequences. Reducing Stigma and Empowering Girls: Access to sanitary facilities helps normalize menstruation, reducing stigma and fostering a supportive environment for girls. This can build their confidence, enabling them to fully participate in school activities and develop self-esteem. Addressing Gender Equality: Lack of proper facilities disproportionately affects girls, creating an unequal learning environment.
