Deux cents familles, victimes de viol et de violences sexuelles, déplacées par la guerre et vivant à Bukavu, continuent de bénéficier du projet, notamment les membres des familles bénéficiaires directes, soit 1 400 personnes (en moyenne sept personnes par famille). Chaque famille a préparé son terrain, a participé au chargement et au déchargement des matériaux de construction et réalisé les travaux. Il convient également de noter qu'un entrepôt communautaire, géré par des membres de la communauté et/ou chaque famille bénéficiaire, est disponible, et que d'autres bénévoles se chargent du transport des matériaux jusqu'à leur destination.

Par ailleurs, les autorités locales ont également contribué à faciliter les procédures administratives liées au site d'installation et à assurer la sécurité des familles et de leurs biens.
