Conservation Without Borders: July update

By Richard Hines | Communications Manager

Working together we can restore landscapes

Since I was last in touch our Conservation Without Borders project has made fantastic progress.

With the help of hundreds of volunteers we've planted thousands of plants and restored vast areas of land for Australia's threatened wildlife.

Here are three of my favourite stories from the past few months:

We've launched one of the world's biggest landscape restoration plans. The 'Habitat 141' program covers 18 million hectares of Australia and will be a key focus of Conservation Without Borders over the coming years.
We had a close encounter with a very special species - the Southern Brown Bandicoot.
Alzheimer's Australia set us a brand new conservation challenge - to involve a younger onset dementia group with our volunteering work. They've made a real contribution to the conservation of Australia's landscapes - and inspired us to think differently about dementia.

Thank you again for your generous support. This important conservation work is only possible because of people like you.

Best wishes,

Richard
