Green Care Association (GCA) continues with indigenous tree seeds collection, nurse and out plant with interested persons and groups. Recently, this was the case with a group that came for training at GCA Agricultural Training Centre. A session was organized to educate participants on the value of trees, when and how to plant. Trainees were thrilled and resorted to buying some tree species. One of the participants, Henry excitedly exclaimed 'so long as I am alive, I am going to plant a minimum of 10 trees every year in my family land’. His efforts to buy some 30 trees triggered GCA to donate him some additional trees. As a motivation GCA has program to execute similar programs every year to interested persons and groups for free so as to encourage the habit of tree planting with communities. We remain thankful to our Global Giving donors who keep supporting our projects such that we are able to pass on knowledge to our remote communities. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.
