A second lockdown is underway in Uganda. While some business is open, schools and churches are currently closed; a major concern of the Ministry of Education. The graduating S4s had taken their National Exams during April of 2021. The 2020 Academic Year had finally drawn to a close for them.
The recent publication of exam scores for Bishop Comboni was met with an inventive headmaster. The top school in the District needed to share the good news with the best performers.
Even in these crazy times, the dedication of the students and teachers had to be rewarded. The scores were hand-delivered to the top students at home. Their reactions were reward enough for the tireless efforts of the administration.
This school, with its outstanding E-Library, has every right to celebrate. During the interrupted classes, the lockdowns, and the heartbreak of staying away, these students have never given up. We thank all who have generously supported their efforts with donations of books, computers and good will. The E-Library is waiting for the students to return. New books and computers will greet them when school re-opens. The 2021 Academic Year will begin soon, we hope.
