Phase I of the E-Library has furnishings that seat 64. The plan for Phase II will more than double that capacity. Bwindi Community Program has broken Phase II into components to allow for the study area to be enlarged to 157 students immediately. All of the space will be available for students to use with a relatively small investment.
Computers and Books will be an ongoing need, but the first step will be to purchase 93 more chairs and the required tables; enlarging the capacity inside the space by 71 seats plus seating for 22 with small tables on the balcony.
We are so grateful to all who have helped us to the completion of Phase I. Phase II furnishings will require about $7,000 and we are half-way there. A donation of any size will be appreciated by the students who can be accommodated when we have all the furnishings in place.
