Last month, the Kimbilio staff were able to reunite a little girl back to her family. Once her mother had greeted her child she was able to speak about it. She said, "A woman took her. We looked for her everywhere. We didn't know whether we find her dead or alive but we thank God. Now she is alive. I have nothing to give. A girl is riches. All I can give is my thanks. Thank you."
A girl is riches! Thank you - with your support Kimbilio can help so many street-connected girls in so many ways to reunite them with their families and bring them home or by providing short and long- term homes for them. Your donations and support help them on every step of their Kimbilio journey, to provide shelter, food, health care and education or vocational training, as well as a loving home with people who care.
Next month, from April 9th through to April 13th, we will be taking part in GlobalGiving's Little by Little Campaign. During this week, GlobalGiving will match donations up to $50 at 50% with $50,000 in matching funds. If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this story with a friend or colleague who also may be able to help. We are focusing on our From Exploitation in Mines to a Hope Filled Future project for this campaign but every little helps with any of our projects.
