We are excited to share a critical update on our Condom Bank Initiative, a community-driven HIV prevention and sexual health project designed to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and unintended pregnancies among vulnerable youth in Nigeria.
Across many underserved communities, young people still face serious barriers to accessing free condoms, reproductive health education, and youth-friendly health services. Stigma, misinformation, and poverty continue to fuel rising cases of HIV infection and teenage pregnancy. This is why your support is so important.
What We’re Doing Now
We are currently preparing for the rollout of 10 condom banks in high-risk communities. These safe-access points will:
- Provide free condom distribution to youth and adults
- Deliver comprehensive sexual health education and HIV awareness
- Offer confidential counseling and safe-sex guidance
- Engage trained community health volunteers to lead outreach and behavior change campaigns
This initiative directly supports HIV prevention, public health promotion, and youth empowerment, aligning with global goals to end HIV/AIDS and improve reproductive health outcomes.
