Children and Youths in our community are behind the digital life because of lack of digital skills and devices that can be used to help them get digital literacy. At TATCO Uganda community center we aim to support the intended beneficiaries with computer training in order to equip them with digital skills that can help them carry out computer aided activities. However we are in need of more computers to be used in the training to a large number of beneficiaries who come to our training center
We are in need of more computers that we can use to train and support a big number of children and youths both in schools and in communities who frequently come to our community center for the free services that we offer for community change. Some of these services include I.C.T connection and computer training. However we have very few computers i.e 5 Computers which can not be used by over 50 beneficiaries at ago. So we are in need of more computers to help us to train our community in I.C.T
When we get enough computers at out community center, we will be able to train most of the children and youths that need our support and this will make them appreciate practically the importance of computers and how to use them in their academic, social and economic development. Enough computers installed will create active participation and enable all who need the services be practically supported.
The community will have ontime access to I.C.T services and enhanced persons to use digital tools for academic, social and economic development needs; Capacity building which will be a bridge between the urban and rural areas in terms of connection and information sharing
