Expanding Our Horizons.
The community innovation resource center has come along way ever since we started back in December 2012. We embarked on journey our you, our donors, setting up a number of projects that were targeting the community we serve.
Of late, our staff is embarking on a project that will help the community and our country at large. They are helping our a food company to source high protein plants in Uganda. We started out with 11 plants last year; this year we sourced over 85 plants.
Together with the food company, we are now moving towards purchasing our these items in bulk for export. This will help all farmers associated with the project to earn big incomes for their agricultural produce while availing a constant market for their produce.
If the food company accepts all our newly sourced plants, 85 farmers will become the new beneficiaries of the project. In the long run, this project will impact more people as their are many plants out their that local farmers produce that we are not aware of and they need market for them. We believe that we will avail these markets for them.
But above all, these are fruits of our kind hearted donors that believed in our cause to serve the local community. Its our prayer that you continue believing in us and proceed with your spirit of donating to the community resource center to extend our services to communities in Uganda at large.
Thank you all so much.
