The Holiday season is here and we at KEACIRC would first and foremost like to wish all our esteemed donors happy holidays.
At the center we are now starting our holiday programs after a long school period and we are targeting holiday makers and students during this festive season. Many students are now enrolling for the holiday programs slated to start after the Christmas session.
Most of our staff are busy visiting homes looking to recruit new students to be trained in ICT and most parents have now seen the value of attaining basic training through our center.
All computers have been upgraded to meet new technology needs and this was done by the ICT manager. The resource center will also be used a venue to recruit farmers to join the Eco system Based Adaptation for Food security Assembly in Kikandwa sub county since out director is now the advisor of the assembly.
Here farmers will be trained on how to adapt to the ever changing weather pattern making them resilient to the effects of climate change. This is necessary and is critical as leaders at the COP21 have guidelines to move away from fossil fuels to adopt renewable energy sources of energy.
We thank all of you who have stood by this all this time long.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
KEA CIRC Management
