Mostly the pregnant women from BPL families receive support from Sabuj Sangha Health center. The health center is in Mathurapur II block. Pregnant women from poor and needy families receive nutritional supplementary medicine. They could not afford nutritional food and medicine because of their financial conditions. As a result some complications arise during their pregnancy. Therefore these women received nutritional supplementary medicine for their safe delivery.
100 malnourished, pregnant and needy mothers had got support of supplementary medicine during June’15 to August’15 from four Gram Panchayats i.e Nandakumarpur, Lakshmi Janardanpur, Herambogopalpur & Achintanagar of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India.
