Our normal programming has been shifted.
Over the last three weeks when we would have been planning for the next community BBQ we have been responding to the over 1,000,000 displaced people here in Beirut. We are providing daily hot food, mattress, pillows, blankets, and hygiene packages to the displaced. As well as providing the makeshift kitchens and raw materials for the centers who are able to cook for themselves.
During the situation while Lebanon is under threat there is not many who dare to venture out of thier houses unless it is necessary. So a community gathering is not feasible, so our bi-yearly community BBQs are on hold. We look forward to peace in Lebanon and the ability to reach out and again bring this joy and hope again with our BBQs.
