Dear donors,
In order to have a stable and strong society and community, the contribution and abilities of young people are important. During interactive meetings, we try to encourage active beneficiaries who strive to support their communities as much as possible. Most of the young people in the distant regions of RA, being in socially vulnerable conditions and having a noticeable lack of knowledge and skills in journalism, mass media, and IT, cannot inform the society and share their problems. Some of them get disappointed and leave their communities. As a result, these young people become more passive, and the community's problems become hidden.
The following paragraph is Masha's feelings about the project and a message addressed to all of our donors:
Hello. I'm Masha. For me, the influence of young people in the process of community development is very important and primary. Within the framework of this program, we have the opportunity to develop our research and journalistic skills. During the meetings, I can express myself freely. In school, we receive education. This newfound knowledge, however, needs to be invested in the strengthening of communities. I hope that this program will continue and that the talents and abilities of young people will be revealed. Thank you so much for that opportunity. We can do this together. I am sure of it.
Dear donors, your donations were directed towards the implementation of training a new generation of young journalists.
Dear donors,
We would like to introduce our next beneficiary Lia and her message to all donors.
Hi, I'm Lia. By participating in this program, I have the opportunity to develop my journalistic, research abilities and skills. For me, the development of remote communities in Armenia is very important, because having such communities, we will be able to overcome all existing challenges. That is the reason why I prefer to spend my free time on this wonderful program and to identify the current problem of our communities through the combination of journalism, media and technology.
Dear donors,
This project continues to encourage new generation of young journalists to discover their community issues, to develop their communication skills, their presentation skills and to introduce them to contemporary technological advancements. They periodically need to participate in non-formal training sessions.
We train young, motivated journalists to cover their community issues. By knowing and understanding journalistic and media skills, the 110 young experts from the new generation will be able to identify and solve existing problems.
Expected results of the project:
Develop creative and research skills of 300 young beginner journalists,
Increase level of knowledge in the field of journalism by means of the created distance educational process,
Increased level of knowledge of the ICT sector,
Successful employment for the beneficiaries,
Create a platform to communicate with each other and share ideas among beneficiaries,
Prepare and disseminate information (activities, etc.) about the Centre,
Familiarize the community with articles and materials prepared by our beneficiaries.
Dear donors,
We are glad to inform that due to you, we can continue to support the new generation of young journalists to explore the main problems of their communities, and to carry out research and analytical work.
The main goal of the project is to encourage young people and teenagers of the Republic of Armenia to be able to identify community issues and offer solutions. All this can be achieved when beneficiaries of the program have an opportunity to participate in informal training modules and interactive meetings, where they will have the opportunity to freely express their thoughts and ideas and cultivate problem-solving mechanisms together.
Due to your high impact on this program, we continue to support the young journalists of the new generation. They are regularly being trained and updated on contemporary technologies, as well as the rules of civic journalism. As young people are the main part of the community, we aim to help them gain the necessary knowledge and skills through interactive meetings.
Your donations continue to support this active and entrepreneurial youth. Every gesture you make is important to the beneficiaries concerned.
We would like to present the history and message of one of our new beneficiaries, Lia, to our donors.
Hi, I’m Lia. I want to live in a society where people feel happy and safe. I believe that through this project our dreams will come true. It and journalism is a great key to solve our main problems and community issues. I hope that one day will have a chance to see intellectual and powerful communities in Armenia.
Dear donors,
We would like to inform you that the names of all project participants were changed in order to protect their privacy.
We would like to present the history and message of one of our beneficiaries, Sima, to our donors.
“Hello. I'm very happy I got involved in this project. It helps me find out my abilities, become more confident and more patient. I think that we, the youth, represent the guarantee of our community. I feel very responsible for participating in this training as I have a mission to support my community. Today and every day I am obliged to support and encourage my friends. We are a team with a huge goal. I thank you for this opportunity. It is absolutely necessary to continue the implementation of this project as it helps us to develop and improve our work for the benefit of our communities. I’d like to thank everyone who has ever supported our project and believed in us.
As a result, our beneficiaries carry out evaluation and assessment of community issues, do public discussions and share their knowledge and experience with other members of the community as well as actively communicate with other young groups of Yerevan and communities. It helped the development of IT and media spheres and the activation of volunteers’ works in communities. Community urgent issues were revealed through joint efforts and, afterwards, solutions were discussed as well as the necessary ways to overcome the issues.
Dear donors, your donations were directed towards the implementation of training a new generation of young journalists.
In various communities of the Republic of Armenia, we carried out training in non-formal methodology, which was titled “Young Experts”. The training aimed at boosting their skills in journalism, analytics, and creativity. Developing analytical minds will promote the development of free speech and thinking ability, which are important for mastering the main principles of journalism and the progress of modern technologies.
Dear donors, our partners,
We are glad to inform you that, due to your support, we are able to continue encouraging new generations of young journalists to speak out about issues occurring in their communities.
The “ICT as a Tool for Young Voices” project continues to train young journalists via an informal, interactive course in order to support their target group via modern, innovative technologies while also teaching them to dedicate their efforts to causes that benefit their communities.
The main purpose of the project is to promote the involvement of the youth of the Republic of Armenia in their communities' development and to teach them how to use journalistic, creative skills and abilities to overcome any challenges they encounter.
Our beneficiaries witness various issues in the rural marzes of the Republic of Armenia. They try to use the resources available to them to resolve these difficult situations, however, many lack the skills and abilities necessary to find a solution on their own. As a result, the beneficiaries of this project need the advantages they gain via our training to create teams, build group communication skills, and increase their knowledge and level of awareness of the issues they are trying to resolve.
Dear donors, your support is vital to the implementation of these informal training courses.
We greatly appreciate that you are next to us and willing to help us support young journalists through these very important steps. All your donations are directed to support the development of the communities of the Republic of Armenia. Our special trainings are incredibly unique, progressive, and innovative. They play a prominent role in helping us to understand the life challenges faced by our beneficiaries and how we can support their goals to better their communities.
Dear donors,
We would like to inform you that the names of all project participants were changed in order to protect their privacy.
The following is Mara's feelings about the project and a message addressed to all our donors.
Hello my name is Mara. I am so happy to be involved in these great trainings courses. In my life, I have many problems so the problems faced by the Armenian communities is a focal point for me. These kinds of meetings help us to understand and investigate our surroundings, the challenges, the modern IT opportunities, etc. You and Zartonk-89 gave us the opportunity to improve and empower our knowledge, intelligence, and abilities. Thank you so much for that opportunity. We can do this together; I am sure of it.
