People living with Parkinson's disease in our community continue to face significant challenges, including discrimination, fatigue, limited access to healthcare, and a lack of social support. As the number of patients grows, so does the need for urgent assistance. Since our project posted, the number of bedridden patients has increased from 85 to 130, highlighting the growing demand for essential care and support.
Although donations received through GlobalGiving during the past two months were lower than we had hoped, every contribution has made a meaningful difference. With support from GlobalGiving donors, individual contributors, and other partners, we provided clothing assistance to 18 vulnerable patients in mid-March 2026. For many of these individuals, this support restored dignity and brought hope during a difficult time. We remain committed to reaching more patients and will continue providing essential assistance as additional funding becomes available. Thank you for standing with people living with Parkinson's disease and helping us improve their quality of life.
