A cancer diagnosis during adolescence or young adulthood can disrupt friendships, education, independence, and identity. Treatment schedules, physical side effects, and prolonged recovery can push young people away from peers just when connection is most important.
Thanks to your support, we delivered activities that create safe, welcoming spaces - both online and in person - where young people can meet others who truly understand.
Shuffle Club
Fifteen young people aged over 18 joined this social activity, connecting through music, games, and shared experiences.
Pizza & Games Night
Twenty young people joined this evening session, enjoying informal social interaction, teamwork, and laughter in a relaxed, supportive environment.
These sessions helped participants feel part of a community, rebuild friendships, and reduce the isolation often experienced during and after cancer treatment.
Your support is helping young people rediscover companionship, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
How you can help
With your support, we can continue to reduce loneliness and isolation for young people living with and beyond cancer. Every donation enables safe, inclusive events where participants can connect, form meaningful friendships, and feel hopeful about the future. Your generosity ensures that no young person has to face cancer alone and that they can experience the vital social connections that make recovery and wellbeing possible.
