Challenge

Children with albinism are often discriminated against by other children who have been misinformed and wrongly believe that people with albinism are witches or sorcerers. Because of these prejudices, many of them drop out of school or do not have access to quality education. Girls with albinism are especially vulnerable and may face exploitation, violence, and abuse due to harmful beliefs that they can bring wealth or good fortune. It is essential to raise awareness and promote respect, equality

Solution

English translation: > By the end of the project, knowledge and awareness about albinism will have increased, discriminatory attitudes will have decreased, and children with albinism will feel more accepted, protected, and included in schools and within their communities.

Long-Term Impact

In the long term, the project aims to eliminate discrimination, stigma, and harmful misconceptions about albinism. It seeks to ensure that children with albinism have equal access to education, protection, and development opportunities. The project will also contribute to building more inclusive communities where people with albinism are respected, protected, and fully integrated into society
