The San Vicente Fundacion Childrens Hospital, provides underprivileged children with urgent, specialised care regardless of their families ability to pay. 80% of the children we treat come from low-income families. They arrive requiring care for life threatening burns, cancer, transplants, and in critical condition in the ICU. We support people coming from across the region of Antioquia. Colombia's pediatric healthcare is in crisis. In Medellin alone, over 900 pediatric beds have been lost in recent years, leaving thousands of critically ill children without treatment. For families living in poverty, the cost of surgery, cancer therapy, or ICU care is unaffordable. Without your immediate help, many of these children will not survive.
We provide the most advanced pediatric care in the region (Antioquia), including the only dedicated pediatric burn unit, a leading transplant program, oncology care, neonatal units, and ICU services for emergencies. Our hospital classroom also supports children's mental health and education. With your support, every child, from any background has access to the treatment they need to survive.
