College Building Construction Fund

Welcome to NUR Foundation's College Construction Fund, where we are committed to making a positive impact on the education sector in Pakistan. We believe that education is a fundamental right and everyone deserves access to quality education.

However, the economic crisis in Pakistan has worsened the situation, especially in the primary and secondary education sectors. Our adopted communities are facing a lack of proper facilities, and we urgently need your help to bridge the gap.

The NUR-FMS has been working tirelessly to raise awareness and build the capacity of teachers in these communities. We have been running schools in Malikpur Village, Lahore, since 1996, where the enrollment has reached its maximum, and we urgently require additional facilities to meet the growing demand.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the NUR Foundation and Fatima Memorial Hospital have been working on construction activities to complete the project, but it is taking more time than usual due to a lack of funds. The construction costs are rising daily due to the ongoing recession and devaluation of the local currency, making it challenging to complete the project on time.

Your generous donations will help us to provide our students with a better education. We have identified specific areas where your support can make a significant impact, such as furniture, a computer lab, a science lab, a library, a play area, a cafeteria, a mosque, a conference room, a principal office, and a boundary wall.

By supporting this noble cause, you can help change the lives of many individuals and families in our communities. We cannot accomplish our objective without your assistance.

These costs are just estimates, and we may require more or less, depending on the situation. Your donations will go directly towards covering these costs and making a positive impact on the education system in Pakistan.

An Environment of Learning

Pakistan is still confronted with availability of proper educational facilities; especially for the primary education, while enlistment and consistency standards are improving, but still needs to accelerate the pace of enrollment.

As of now, Pakistan has the world's second-largest number of out-of-school children (OOSC) with an expected 22.8 million youngsters not enrolling to formal schools.

Approximately 5 million children between the ages of 5 to 9 are not enrolled in the schools while 11.4 million children between the ages of 10 to 14 are either not enrolled or irregular.

The reason for non-enrollment is primarily non availability of proper facilities, teachers and/or lack of interest by the parents.

NUR-FMS has an ongoing awareness campaign in our adopted communities to ensure high number of enrollment; capacity building of teachers from within the communities.

After the COVID19 Pandemic, NUR Foundation and Fatima Memorial Hospital is tirelessly working on the construction activities and are eyeing to complete the project which is taking more time than usual due to lack of funds. The Organization is also witnessing a major rise in the construction cost on daily basis due to an ongoing recession and devaluation of the local currency thus making it more difficult to complete the project in time.

With the challenges mentioned above, NUR Foundation continues to run its schools since 1996 in Malikpur Village, Lahore where the enrollment has reached its maximum and we immediately need additional facilities to cover the need of the community.

With your generous donations, we were able to cordon off the land purchased by the organization to secure the students; however construction activities are slow which can only be increased with your support.

We anticipate the following requirements of funds for various activities:
