Happy New Year!
We are excited to report that ten USAP students in Education Matter's first cohort were accepted and fully funded to top U.S. colleges and universities during the Early Decision/Early Action admission cycle. They will be attending Bryn Mawr, Brown, Harvard, Lafayette, Pomona, Reed, Sewanee, Smith, University of Pennsylvania and Wellesley. Together these first ten have earned over $2.5 million in scholarships over their four years of study.
Their victories are in part your victories too. Thank you for your generous donations which are making their educational journeys and dreams possible.
Enjoy the attached video we think you will enjoy, taken spontaneously at our office of Roy Mugobi, one of the 10 who learned at Mufakose High, learning that he was accepted to Harvard.
2017 has started on a high note for Education Matters and the USAP students. We look forward to your continued support this year as we work with more talented students who only lack the resources to pursue brilliant educational opportunities.
Blessings as you two reach out for your dreams in the new year. Education does matter!
