Dear WOWzers,
We hope this report finds you in good spirits. We want to begin by sincerely thanking you for your continued love, prayers, and support. Because of you, WOW Café—our café with a cause—has not only endured but is now stepping into a new season of growth and opportunity. What once felt uncertain has turned into a powerful testimony of provision, and we are deeply grateful to have you walking this journey with us.
Since relocating to the The Foundation For Tomorrow Learning Center in Usa River in November 2025, we have seen a remarkable increase in sales, visibility, and community engagement. This opportunity has truly revitalized the café and positioned us in a place where we can grow both our impact and our sustainability. We are especially encouraged by the relationships being built within this vibrant community. In addition, the children now have access to a beautiful playground on-site—something many of them have never experienced before. It has been incredibly moving to see them freely play, laugh, and simply enjoy being children. This opportunity has truly brought them joy and has had a meaningful impact on their daily lives.
We are also excited to share the progress of our new job training program for single parents, widows, and children from our Sponsor-A-Child program. Two of our older children, Joseph and Hussein, have already completed the training. Hussein has gone on to start his own small sugarcane juice business, selling at WOW Café and keeping 50% of his earnings. This initiative is helping him learn real business skills, and we could not be prouder. In addition, our weekly food distribution program continues to support families in need, and our two community gardens are helping supply both the café and those we serve.
While we are not yet fully profitable, we are stabilizing and moving steadily in that direction. We believe this will be the year WOW Café becomes profitable, allowing us to further support our NGO, Wakefulness Orphans and Widows (WOW Tanzania). As the official caterers for TFFT, we are optimistic about what lies ahead. However, we still need your support to fully realize this vision. There are key investments needed, including a pizza oven, sound equipment, and additional cooking tools for training and service. Thank you again for helping us come this far—we truly could not do this without you, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
