Hello dear donors,
In 2024, Rendu Ocean's coastal cleanup activities enter the 17th year.
The most important change in 2024 is that the coastal cleanup activities for public will be given top priority in the schedule, once a month. The first event was completed on January 20, in Binjiang Forest Park, where 35 participants picked up 50 kilograms of garbage. It was particularly cold in February and had to be cancelled. It was cancelled in March due to low enrollment.
At Queen's Bay Beach in Sanya, Hainan province, in early March, Rendu Ocean's and a local NGO organized Hasten Bio employees to carry out a beach cleaning, and 371 people removed 855 kilograms of marine debris. A lecture on Marine litter was also organized before the beach cleaning.
On March 23, Nordic Day, Rendu Ocean assisted the Shanghai consulates of the three Nordic countries to organize a beach cleaning, in which 44 consular staff and public volunteers collected 66 kilograms of garbage.
On the same day, Rendu Ocean organized Michelin Company employees carried out a beach cleaning, 22 people picked up 84 kilograms of garbage.
