Children on exposure trip

Coaching class children on exposure trip
Coaching class children on exposure trip

52 children from our coaching classes were taken on an exposure trip to Annamalai University, a famous university in Chidambaram. The children together with their mentor teachers went to Chidambaram on 21st June by bus. They visited the university and they were exposed to the various courses available. The children were astonished to see the huge campus and the variety of opportunes available. They then visited the famous Chidambaram temple. On their way back they were taken to the historically important places in Poompuhar and Tanjore. The children are very happy that they were taken to places which they have studied in their history lessons.

The funding for the exposure trip was obtained from the related microproject Exposure Trip For 50 Children In India. And we have a balance of $77 which will be used for the next year's trip. During this quarter we received donations of $42.5 and the same was used to pay the honorarium of the teacher.

10 students from our coaching classes have passed their high school examination with an average of 73% of marks. Of this 10, 2 students have scored 85% marks and they are very happy about it. Santhosh's (scored 426 for 500) father is very happy and says, "Me or my wife are less educated and could not help Santosh in his studies. Thank you teacher, for coaching my son and helping him to score good marks. This would not have been possible without the coaching he is undergoing for the last 6 years. We wish that, so many childre like my son should be benefitted from the coaching class."

Thank your dear donors for continuously supporting our cause. Only with the support and well wishes from people like you, we can achieve this. Kindly spread words about the project to your likeminded friends and relatives. They value your words more. And collective support is much required to continue the coaching classes.

Thank you once again.

With regards
