Coaching 100 school children in studies in India

You will be moved to see Piya sitting in front of her tiny home and studying. Piya and her sister are living in this small hut with their mother. Her father cheated their mother, deserted the family and is living with another woman. Piya is 14 years old and is studying in 8th standard. 

Piya's mother is working as a cleaner in a nursing home and is earning $50 per month. The family owns the hut and the children are having one time meals in their school. The income is very low to take care of two girl children. Piya's aunty is supporting the family and hence her mother can manage. 

Piya is admitted to our coaching class in the year 2012. When she joined our coaching class she was scoring 61% of marks in the exams. Piya is a good student but her circumstances made her to concentrate less on her studies. Once she joined New Life's coaching class her scores improved. She is scoring 75% now.

You would be excited to hear what Piya says when asked: "What do you want to become?" She says, 'I love dancing and love to teach dance to my friends. I have choreographed dances for our New Life and coaching class functions and would love to do more. I want to master in dancing and become a dance teacher." 

We wish to see this poor girl to continue her school education and continue to pursue her passion. To complete her education she needs to be supported. This is possible only with the support you give to our coaching class. Many such children like Piya can make their dreams a reality only with the support you give to continue their studies.
