Dear Donors,

It's always a pleasure to meet you all!

This quarter had been an eventful one with the children wrote the half-yearly in the month of December. January was a month of celebration where the children from the coaching class, early learning centre and the special school for child labourers in Kaja Pettai joined together and celebrated the Republic Day of India. It was a great moment to see our coaching class children delivering speech about great leaders of India, sing an awareness song, and perform a beautiful dance.

Abay (name changed) is studying in 10th standard. He has no father and his mother being the bread winner of the family has less time to help in his studies. He is attending our coaching class. He is intelligent student who stands first in the class, wants to become a doctor. He is a good player too. He is in the school volley ball team and his team won the school match. He was honoured in the Republic Day Celebration. It is a motivation to other students.

The coaching class students were taken to an exposure trip to Pondicherry, where they visited the village facilitated by the  Auroville community, the Aurobindo Ashram, the beach, the musuem,  the farm festival in the park, etc. Abay says that he is much happy that he can visit new places like Pondicherry only because of the exposure trips organised by New Life each year. It is good to see the children learn and enjoy during this exposure.

Thank you dear donors, for supporting these beautiful, intelligent children, who otherwise would not have such great opportunities. Kindly keep supporting these children to learn, see and get exposed to the world. Also spread words about the project to your friends and relatives who would love to support these children like you.

Thanking you
