Clubes TED-Ed Argentina

1. Who we reached

In 2025, the program had a wide territorial reach across Argentina, working with students from diverse social and geographic contexts. The report highlights participation in multiple provinces, showing that the initiative is not concentrated in one city but has a federal scope.

Students from different educational realities engaged in the program, including schools with fewer resources, where access to spaces for self-expression and public speaking is usually limited. This expands opportunities for young people who are often not heard in traditional education settings.

2. What changed for participants

The impact goes far beyond learning to “speak well.” Students:

• Strengthened self-confidence

• Developed clearer thinking and argumentation skills

• Learned to transform personal experiences, questions or concerns into structured ideas

• Experienced being listened to with respect

• Participated in a full process from idea to public presentation

The final events, where students present their talks, are described as powerful moments of transformation. Many participants speak in public for the first time, in front of families, peers and communities, reinforcing a sense of agency and belonging.

3. Educational approach

The methodology combines:

• Project-based learning

• Reflective exercises

• Collaborative dynamics

• Public speaking techniques

Teachers play a key role as facilitators, and the program provides them with a structured framework and training so they can guide students effectively. This builds local capacity, as schools gain tools that remain even after the program cycle ends.

4. Community and ecosystem

The report shows a strong network of alliances and supporters from the education, civil society and private sectors. These partnerships help the program scale, reach new regions and ensure sustainability.

The visibility of the final events and the involvement of communities turn the students’ talks into shared cultural and educational moments, not just classroom activities.

5. Why this matters

In many schools, students rarely have structured opportunities to:

• Explore their own ideas deeply

• Practice speaking in public

• Be heard as thinkers, not only as learners

Clubes TED-Ed addresses this gap by creating a safe and demanding process where young people develop both voice and critical perspective. This contributes to long-term skills linked to civic participation, academic development and future employability.

Expanding the Program and Strengthening Teacher Training

In July, we continued strengthening the presence of Clubes TED-Ed across Argentina. Our team traveled to Neuquén to lead an in-person training for teachers and coordinators, supporting the local implementation of the program. Meanwhile, in Buenos Aires City (CABA), we launched a new edition of Club Docente, bringing together educators eager to explore TED-Ed methodologies and adapt them to their classrooms.

Throughout the month, we hosted informative meetings for teachers and principals, carried out individual calls with educators starting their Clubes, and collaborated with researchers and officials from the Ministry of Education of CABA to analyze and improve the implementation model.

To ensure nationwide reach, we also organized a virtual teacher training open to educators from every province in Argentina.

New Partnerships and Expanding Frontiers

August marked the beginning of our partnership with YPF Foundation, aiming to bring Clubes TED-Ed to schools in energy-producing regions of the country. As part of this collaboration, we launched the first digital training sessions for participating teachers, laying the foundation for future expansion.

In Salta, rural schools continued implementing their Clubes TED-Ed with great enthusiasm. We supported them through tailored teacher training sessions that strengthened their facilitation skills and helped them guide students in creating their talks.

Meanwhile, in Neuquén, teachers from the Club Docente participated in follow-up training activities, while our team also collaborated in educational spaces that fostered exchange between teachers and local innovation ecosystems.

In parallel, we joined the kick-off of the UNICEF + Festival Buena Data program, deepening our engagement in the national conversation about education and youth expression.

Collaboration and Cultural Impact

In September, our focus remained on collaboration and the continued implementation of Clubes TED-Ed across the country. We participated in Atrapados en las Redes, an initiative led by Fundación La Nación, where we shared insights on communication, digital culture, and educational innovation.
