COVID-19 has hit Thailand hard at the 2nd wave while less than 4% of the population have full doses of vaccines (data on June 24th, 2021) and the hospitals are at full capacity and running critically short of intensive care beds. Though, our 6 Champions and 25 volunteers are waiting for the kick off date of our 21st Climb to Change a Life in Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Southern Thailand, Zy Movement Foundation and organizing committee have made a decision to postpone the original schedule of the activity from July 25th, 2021 to next year for participants and nation safety purpose.
In the meantime, our champions will keep practicing on the hiking/mobility skill while “Stay Safe & Stay Empowered” at home with our Virtual Climb to Change a Life Challenge where the champions & life-changers will hike up and down the staircases on weekly basis and collect participating points to get special rewards from the project.
The challenge will be posted at the “Climb to Change a Life” facebook group and you are welcome to observe and join the challenge with us.
