Access to clean water in Gaza remains critically limited as much of the water and sanitation infrastructure has been severely damaged. Many families now rely on only a few liters of water each day, forcing them to make difficult choices between drinking, cooking, and hygiene.
Through the Gaza Clean Water Relief Fund, Human Initiative continues to deliver urgent water support to communities facing these challenges. In this recent distribution, clean water was delivered directly to displaced families using water trucks. Residents gathered with containers and jerry cans to collect water that will help sustain their daily needs.
For many families, this water is essential not only for drinking but also for preparing food and maintaining basic hygiene in temporary shelters. Access to safe water significantly reduces health risks and helps families maintain dignity in extremely difficult conditions.
This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to provide both immediate and sustainable water solutions in Gaza. While emergency water trucking helps address urgent needs today, your continued support will also help develop longer-term solutions such as water wells and improved water infrastructure.
