Introduction
This Nepal project is using solar energy to help improve remote rural communities' resilience, with a focus on improving health, flood-safety and the livelihoods of vulnerable people in two isolated communities.
Report
“I spent most of my morning and evening before and after school fetching water from a source that was two hours away from my home. I hardly got any time to complete my homework or play with my friends.”
Now thanks to our solar water pumping project in her community, her and her family have access to a tap nearby instead of facing this daily journey across difficult terrain to fetch water.
