For more than a year, we have been seeing the impact you have helped us make through providing clean water and hygiene education to nearly 2,000 children and their families in Taek Village. When recently visiting the AquaTower, the Village Leader explained, "Before the AquaTower, the school had no clean water. I tried to make aware of unsafe water to the students, some bring boiled water to school.The students faced waterborne diseases such as diarrhea and typhoid and spent a lot of money for caring. Now we have clean water system in the school, and students drink clean water and school attendance has improved. The tower has become our school hand washing station so students can wash their hands before they go into their class rooms."
Thank you - YOU have helped us reach nearly 80% of our goal! We are still fundraising to provide clean water and hygiene education to the nearby community of Chey, where having access to clean water is still a dream.
