Over 1,000 children and villagers in Taek Village, just outside of Siem Reap, now have clean, safe water for the first time! Thank you to the many donors who have made this possible. Our local deployment partner, PLAN International, joined Planet Water to deploy the AquaTower, along with our Water-Health & Hygiene education program, at Taek Primary School. The students, teachers, and village members all joined in the celebration upon installation of the AquaTower, which was blessed by local monks.
Taek Village is the first of two impoverished communities we are fundraising for. Neither village has access to electricity or clean water. Sok Nha, school headmaster, told us, "Our students do not have access to clean water at school or at home. The most wanted thing, and highest priority for us here is clean water - it's more important than having electricity."
Thank you for making this dream a reality for over 1,000 people in need!
