On the International Day of Clean Energy, we are proud to share the launch of our life-changing initiative to bring clean energy access to underserved communities in Nigeria. While the world advances, millions of families are still trapped in energy poverty, relying on firewood and kerosene for daily cooking and lighting, methods that harm their health, drain their income, and damage the environment.
Families like Grace’s cook over smoky fires every day. This exposes them to indoor air pollution, one of the leading causes of respiratory illness among women and children. It also consumes valuable time that could be spent on education, income generation, and personal development.
What We’re Doing Now
We are actively mobilizing to deliver the following:
Solar lighting systems to replace harmful kerosene lamps
Clean cookstoves to reduce smoke, burns, and fuel consumption
Community education and awareness on sustainable energy practices
