Once again we have an exciting graduation to celebrate. Mercy In Action's Claudia Booker Memorial Midwife Scholarship was awarded to Che under the Grand Challenge that Vicki, Jenny, and Claudia created, and in June of this year, Che made us all proud when she graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Midwifery from our Mercy In Action College of Midwifery!
Che is now practicing as a midwife in Arizona, and has already set up a sweet clinic space to see clients. She is proving to be a leader in her community, and is currently working in collaboration with doctors, nurses and doulas to create a wellness center focusing on birth in the area around Phoenix.
Your support of this scholarship fund continues to make high-quality midwifery education available to future midwives as our students work toward the end goal of improving the health and health care of vulnerable families around the time of pregnancy and childbirth.
