Thank you for your support of this incredibly successful scholarship project! We are so pleased to report that Mercy In Action College of Midwifery has graduated another Claudia Booker Memorial Midwife Scholarship recipient!
We are proud to congratulate Edith upon her graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery degree. She was a recipient of this scholarship for all four years in our school. She told us it made a huge difference in her ability to make it through the rigorous training required to become a midwife. Edith is now studying for her board exams to become a Certified Professional Midwife. In her spare time, she is a volunteer for a mission in Haiti that provides free maternity care and delivery to low-income families.
Your support for this scholarship fund makes it possible for us to help bring dedicated midwives like Edith into the workforce, where they will impact maternal/child health for good here and around the world.
