Project Report | Jul 7, 2011
School Land Cleared

By Lauren Grimanis | President and Co-founder

June 2011 - The community has done the initial clearing of land for the school expansion project. The building will lie adjacent to the current structure. The cleared land will additionally add more space for children during break time. The process to construct walls for the existing building has begun. Community members are currently mixing cement and making blocks to create dividing walls for the three classrooms. This will ensure that children are less distracted by other classes and any road/pedestrian-traffic throughout the day will not interfere with the education.
