Thank you so much for your support! We are very thankful for the kindness and generosity you show. With your help, Grameen Foundation is reaching out and improving the lives of farmers in Uganda with our Community Knowledge Worker (CKW) Project.

Thanks to your generosity, we have accomplished the following:

  • Our CKWs have had more than 1.9 million interactions with farmers!
  • More than 1,300 CKWs are currently helping farmers by providingtips on how best to care for their crops and livestock – which they depend on for both their food and their income. We’ve now reached 249,000 total farmers helped.
  • Our CKW program has reached a total of 21,000 villages, 5,000 more villages reached than this time last year.

Your donations to Grameen Foundation have helped people like John, a farmer and CKW in Uganda. John, a father of five, was selected as a leader from within his community to serve as a CKW. Using the mobile technology and training provided by Grameen Foundation, John was able to completely transform his crops and become an expert farmer trained to provide helpful farming advice for his village. John learned better spacing techniques and also how to use the right kind of fertilizer for his crops. With these changes and more, John was able to earn TEN TIMES more from his farm! Because of hard work and donors like you, John, his family, and his farmer neighbors are on their way to a brighter future.

Once again, THANK YOU! Because of the changes you help to make possible, farmers such as John have to opportunity to reach their potential and to create productive livelihoods for themselves and their families.
