City of Hope aims to find a cure for cancer. To date: 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. About 77% of all cancers are diagnosed in persons 55 years of age and older. About 1,660,290 new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in 2013. In 2013, about 580,350 Americans are expected to die of cancer, almost 1,600 people per day.
