Hope is not just a naive expectation of a better future, which could motivate, and bring resilience in the face of challenges. Hope is also the most essential human right especially when all the other rights are piled away. Circus of Hope project brings fun and joy with educational entertainment for the children who need it the most. Our main focus is the sustainability of our activities by the youth on the local hands through capacity building, networking, and promotion.
Rohingya kids in Cox's Bazar (Bangladesh) are having a very hard time. They left Myanmar in 2017 because of violence and ethnic cleansing. Life in the camps is tough - not enough schools and healthcare. The children are traumatized and hopeless, living in one of the world's largest refugee camps. Conditions are challenging with limited resources, overcrowded living spaces, and difficulties in providing adequate education and healthcare.
Through our training and supervision, and with the support of our partner, the youth teams will carry out regular psychosocial, entertaining, and educational workshops and performances for thousands of children.
Rohingya children and youth in Cox's Bazar gain hope, lasting inspiration, and positive attitudes amidst the challenges they face. MMCC continues to contribute to the development of a vibrant culture of fun, joy, and peace for these children and youth. Our social, artistic, cultural, and environmental activities bring joy, hope, and enthusiasm, fostering personal and social development for thousands of Rohingyas for years to come.
