THE ROTARY CLUB OF BALLYCASTLE , NORTHERN IRELAND annually raise funds for local charities by selling yellow ribbons which are then put on the Christmas Tree to remember loved ones not with us and , in doing so, raising much needed funds for local charities whose essential work has been adversely impacted by Covid 19.
The ROTARY CLUB has identified 2 Charitable organisations Good Morning Ballycastle Ballycastle Food Bank. Their ongoing work is essential to address significant community needs! Because of Covid 19 and the risk to both our members and the public who call to the tree to make a donation we have decided to set up a Donation page so that the ribbon can be purchased remotely but we will put the actual ribbon on a display in a window in the Diamond
By raising our funds virtually we will negate the risk to both our members and the visiting public to contract Covid 19 and we will be adhering to Government guidleines.
Our chosen charities will benefit form our contributions and will continue to do their charitable work with our support both at Christmas and ongoing throughout the year to come.
