Edith Wharton, a famous author once said, there are two ways of speading Light, either be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. Today this report is aimed at celebrating our partnership with you while appreciating the fact that, Fountain of Hope Youth Initiative may only be a candle that can not illuminate a larger space but then there is you our donor...our friend, who has become our mirror helping our small light shine further and touch a few more lives.
Our 2014 Christmas gift program was not as succesful but we want to focus more on what the 200$ we raise did. We got good material support (in-kind donations) locally and so the cash we raised helped us cover logistics cost mainly transporting donations from collection points to our store and to beneficiaries. All this would not have been succesfull without your Dollar. We therefore want to dearly thank you.
We are looking forward to doing much together in 2015 Christmas gift program. We want to give a Christmas package of assorted foodstuff to 150 households and if we raise enough funds hold a Christmas treat to 65 vulnerable kids. We need you on this.
Again thank you for taking time to read this report. Please like us on Facebook page1, Facebook2 and keep an eye on our Flickr site to view more project pictures and stay updated. Follow us on Twitter here. We thank God for you...you are our Mirror.
From FOHLC Team.
