This Children's Day: Protecting Childhood Together

By Anastasiia Baraniuk | Specialist of Individual Fundraising

Dear Caring Friend,

We’re so grateful to you — for choosing to stand beside children when they need it most. Because of you, their childhood can still be full of warmth, wonder, and imagination. Do you remember the feeling of it? Running barefoot on warm grass. Wishing playtime would never end. Eating birthday cake with sticky fingers. Dreaming of places you’d only seen in books.

Childhood is a sacred time, full of wonder and hope. On this International Children's Day, our hearts beat with a singular purpose: to protect every child with cancer. Because of your support side by side, our foundation can help children for more than 14 years. Thank you for being part of this mission.

Let me tell you about Ivan, a bright 9-year-old boy who knows almost every country’s flag. He dreams of exploring Asia one day. Ihor has a heart full of questions and a suitcase of dreams.

But he also lives with a tumor on his optic nerve. His journey began in 2019. After a long fight, he recovered — only to face cancer’s return in 2023. Since then, every week brings therapy, every week is a quiet, brave battle. Now Ihor studies online, and his classroom is reduced to a screen. It may bring him knowledge, but it cannot replace what Ihor misses most: the thrill of friendship and the communication with his peers.

Even with these challenges, Ihor is surrounded by care. This support extends beyond family to the dedicated doctors and donors who are constantly increasing the number of children overcoming cancer.

And you’re one of them!

Because of you, many Ukrainian children have access to vital treatments, ongoing medical care, and all the essentials they need. It gives them more than recovery — it gives them the freedom to hope, to imagine, and to believe.

This Children’s Day, we invite you to come a little closer. Please, become a monthly donor — a super friend and source of strength for kids like Ihor. Just choose a comfortable amount, and your donation will be given automatically each month on the date you choose.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for protecting childhood — with your heart, your actions, and your generosity.

With endless appreciation,

Tabletochki Charity Foundation
