In December 2025, Fundación Caimito City (FCC) successfully carried out its annual Christmas Food Baskets (Canastas Navideñas) initiative, providing essential food support to families in need during the holiday season. This activity was highly successful, thanks in part to the generosity and support of our GlobalGiving donors.
Through this initiative, FCC distributed Christmas Food Baskets to 73 underprivileged families. Each basket was carefully prepared with essential food items to help families enjoy a warm, dignified, and meaningful Christmas Eve dinner.
The program allowed us to once again reach some of the most vulnerable households in El Caimito Adentro, where many families face ongoing economic challenges. For these families, the food baskets provided not only nourishment, but also relief, dignity, and reassurance during an important time of the year.
We are deeply grateful to our GlobalGiving donors, supporters, and volunteers whose contributions made this initiative possible. Your generosity directly translated into full tables, brighter holidays, and meaningful support for families in need.
