This project will enable 50 Households in Iganga tocelebrate Christmas together with joy and happiness, Many family are in agony because they could not afford to buy a special meal like rice and chicken on Christmas and with this project, a Christmas package containing some food stuffs will be given towards Christmas. they will receive gift hampers including but not limited to, sugar, soap, salt, rice, maize flour, cooking oil and bread this will enable them have a wonderful time on Christmas
There are families that are headed by the elderly people, those headed by ill people, those headed by children themselves and those that are so poor that they cannot afford a special meal on a special day, as others are celebrating, they look on.
The project will hire a small van, provide a Christmas package to enable them Christmas with joy and happiness. This project will buy all the necessary items needed for them to have their day special, beef, chicken, soda, rice, bananas will be part of the gifts, this will also help to boost on the immune system of these poor households.
Receiving a gift of things that every one looks forward to at Christmas will cause joy and happiness in these families and as they are happy to receive the package, this improves their health, builds their self esteem and it helps increase children academic performance as things that worry them have been taken care of.
