On Friday, the 17th December 2021, an awareness generation program on Health and Hygiene for the children of slums in Vanderpet, Puducherry was conducted.
Mr. Sivakumar, Trustee of Prime Trust, Miss.Krishnaja and Miss. Anushree, M.S.W students of Sanskrit University, Paiyanur, Kerala organised the event at our Janani Home.
Mr. Sivakumar offered a talk on personal hygiene, like bruishing teeth, taking bath, washing hands. Information on acquiring contagious diseases by unhygenic way of life was given by the speaker. Empahsis was given on Covid pandemic and how to protect ourselves by wearing mask, washing hands regularly and taking bath every day.
The two interns showed pictures and slides on good habits were shown by the presentors. It was wonderful program for the children.
