After months of cancer treatment, Tomás, a 9-year-old boy, experienced a loss of mobility and strength. Activities that once felt simple — like running or climbing stairs — became difficult and sometimes painful.
At our Oncology Rehabilitation Center, Tomás began a personalized rehabilitation program guided by a team of physical and occupational therapists. Through games, exercises, and constant encouragement, he gradually regained movement and confidence.
Today, Tomás moves with ease and joy, always greeting his therapists with a smile. His mother says, “This center gave him back his strength — and gave us hope.”
Thanks to the support of GlobalGiving donors, children like Tomás receive specialized rehabilitation that helps them recover independence, confidence, and a better quality of life after cancer treatment.
Thank you for your support!
