At the Oncology Rehabilitation Center for children with cancer, we base our sessions on play because we recognize its importance in the rehabilitation and recovery process of our patients.
Play not only provides fun and entertainment, but also plays a fundamental role in the physical, cognitive and emotional development of patients.
Through playing:
We encourage the development of motor skills, improved coordination and balance.
We strengthen fundamental physical skills.
We promote cognitive skills such as concentration, memory, logical reasoning and problem solving.
We provide patients with a space to express their feelings, release stress associated with cancer treatment, and develop coping and resilience skills.
We create a safe and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and motivated to actively participate in their own rehabilitation.
Thanks to your support we can deliver the best care for children with cancer.
