Children's Health Foundation raises vital funds to support sick children and their families in Children's Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. Our aim is to provide world-class facilities, research and compassionate, loving care for every sick child in Ireland.
Affordable and accessible health care is the goal that should be made a reality. Especially for families of children with illnesses where there is a high emotional toll, financial security and caring, informed health care should not be a source of stress for the family.
Our project: 1. fosters, promotes, and advances the work of any children's hospital or hospitals in Ireland in providing in-patient and out-patient medical care of the highest standard in a physical and cultural environment designed to minimize the emotional stress of childhood illness for patients and their parents or guardians 2. promotes, fosters, and finances medical and scientific research into childhood illnesses, health and well-being, to save and improve young lives.
By not only providing individual support to children and their families but also focusing on research into the illnesses these families are facing, we are fostering a higher standard of medical care in which faster, more accessible, and more specialized care can be provided as we continue to grow, research, learn, and implement.
