Recently, 32 CCA-served kiddos and family members partied together courtside with the Portland Trail Blazers. A heartfelt thanks to Genentech who sponsored the ‘Block Out Cancer’ program and donated $25 to CCA for every shot blocked by the Trail Blazers. With your help, seriously ill children are able to find friendship in a Chemo Pal, experience music medicine through our Music Rx program, and ease the burden of treatment by going to a basketball game.
Starting May 1, 2012, GlobalGiving kicks off its Mother’s Day Tribute Card Campaign. Make a donation in honor of your mother May 1-13, and GlobalGiving will send her an email, print-at-home, or physical card. Not only will your mother receive a lovely card, but the top 10 projects who have the most donors during the campaign will each receive a $500 bonus. With $500, CCA could fill the pantry at the Caring Cabin for 5 weekends, help train a new Chemo Pal, or buy 5 new guitars for our Music Rx program.
Click here to make a gift in honor of your mom and help CCA to win an extra $500!
