COLOMBIANITOS seeks to strengthen the program "Goals for a Better Life" in Bucaramanga, which have been developing sports activities like soccer, cheerleading, rugby, basketball, volleyball, music, singing, and school support activities including recreational activities, all with the objective of improve the children and teen quality life by providing opportunities for personal growth and showing that they have another opportunity to be happy and successful.
The headquarters of Bucaramanga was created as a problem of forced displacement generated by violence, where the affected population settled in the outskirts of the city near rivers where conditions are not suitable for housing construction to be considered high risk. For this reason, the City Hall built the Urbanizacion Villas de San Ignacio, where the population was established since 2009, and where COLOMBIANITOS started this program with children and youth of this community.
COLOMBIANITOS general objective of the program, encourage children and youth to attend school and succeed in the classroom, through the formation of values by participation in programs focused on sports, extracurricular activities and field trips. In the case of the headquarters of Bucaramanga, health workshops, counseling, rugby training and strengthening reading habits are made.
COLOMBIANITOS mission is to improve the quality of life of children and youth and their communities through sport, recreation, education and health. To achieve this, we will implement the program of Youth Leadership "Youth Agents of Change" where the goal is to promote the establishment of a Youth Assembly of the Foundation, with a delegation of 2 young each headquarters (7 nationally), and thus benefit 4300 children and young people have the Foundation, with the decisions taken at this Assembly
